Abstract EN

The aim of this research was to investigate the relation between psychological stresses, and some variables which face blind adolescents, in Khartoum State.

The study used the descriptive correlated method.

The sample consisted of 57 randomly selected blind adolescents.

The tools of data collection was represented by the following: The psychological stress scale which was adapted for Egyptian study by Abdelaziz and Zydan Alsartawi.

The data were analyzed using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS), arithmatic mean, and standard deviation, the T-test for two independent samples, and Pearson's coefficient of correlation and spearman's correlation.

The present study reached the following results: The psychological stresses among the blind adolescents are high.

There are no statistical differences, in psychological stresses among of the blind adolescents due to gender (Male-Female).

There is a negative correlation, between the psychological stresses among of the blind adolescents and the educational level.

There are no statistical differences.

In the psychological stresses among the blind adolescent due to the type of impairment.

There are no statistical differences in psychological stresses among the blind adolescent due to the degree of impairment.

At the end of the research, the researcher provided some recommendations and suggestions, for further studies.
