English Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of tribal Jalwa on the academic and administrative process of students and faculty members at the Jordanian public universities.
The researcher used random sampling process to select the sample of the study.
The study involved two groups from three different public universities in Jordan, respectively the first group comprised faculty members and the second group consisted of undergraduate students.
The first group consisted 2273 faculty members working at three public universities mainly; Mu'tah University, Al-Balqa Applied University and Tafila Technical University for the academic year 2016/2017 Whilst, the second group sample involved the students group including 55277 participants.
The two groups included both gender, males and females.

The study recommends that decision makers should work should on tribal Jalwa rules and start applying judicial law to limit the negative impact of tribal restriction on the academic process or punish only those involved in trouble makers instead of departing the whole tribe.
