Abstract EN

The study dials with the Quranic words that are uncommonly used in the contemporary discourse, “a statistical connotative study”.

It aimed to shed light on these words and finding out the morphemes they consists of.

The importance of study refers to the enrichment it added to the Arabic Linguistic study, the description it gives to the uncommon Quranic words in the contemporary life, as well as recognizing the connotations of many words.

The descriptive method which is based on observation and incomplete induction and implementation was used in this study.

The study manipulates the problem within three axes.

The first axis: the definitions and kinds of words, the second axis handled the concept, pillars, and kinds of discourse, the third axis represents the practical parts of the study.

The study has reached into the following results: the disuse of some words refers to the absence of their meanings.

The abandoning and using words depend on language users.

The study recommends further attention to the Quranic linguistic studies.
