The study aims to investigate the notion of the religion of conscience in the modern era, to trace the history of its inception, and its evolution phases in modern western thought.

The present study can reveal that the religion of conscience has had a major impact on contemporary Arabic discourse.

Finally, the paper provides an objective critical analysis of this religion.

The study also provides significant findings, such as the religion of conscience has stemmed recently from modern Western thought during postmodernity which is built on facts while in reality the foundations of facts are missing
