The stylistic skill of verbosity needs a different reading.

Arabic rhetorical studies have provided different glossaries and classifications which have crossed the borders of each other and have become a complicated research problem.

The glossaries have become so varied that one finds it so difficult to figure out which one is the correct definition.

At times, one definition becomes suitable for more than one topic.

It has become very difficult to differentiate between them.

This has led to the disappearance of research value of such disciplines and the glossaries have lost their value, as well.

Therefore, it has become important to provide a different reading of rhetorical verbosity which is as old as its counterpart 'succinctness'.

The two are interrelated in terms of rhetorical studies.

We aim to provide an alternative analysis of this rhetorical discipline.

The present study highlights the importance of this field and its contribution to the rhetorical features of the text, and enriches the text receiver's creativity.
