The paper discussed the familial rights and obligations from Islamic vision, the concept of the muslims family and its importance, the difference between the Islamic and Western definitions of the family, and clarified the cause of family stability under man leadership.

The paper also reviewed the path of Islam to establish a family through good selection of spouses, role models and the commitment of family members to the rights of the family.

It then focused on the familial rights and duties through spouse duties and rights, with a focus on children’s rights in Islamic law compared with modern human legislation and concluded with the most important recommendations.
