Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the positions of traditional international powers represented in the USA, European Union, Russia and China, and the positions of regional powers represented in Iran, Turkey and Israel towards the Arab Spring Revolts which started late in 2010, taking into account that the region is still living the consequences of these revolts without a clear outcome of them.

The study was based on the analytical descriptive and the comparative approaches for collecting data about political facts and realities.

Then the data were analyzed and interpreted in order to reach conclusions that could help understand the positions of international and regional powers towards Arab revolts.

The study has concluded that the changes which the Arab Spring countries have witnessed will not be limited to the process of demographic change for each country, but the whole region in the Middle East is still the main concern of traditional international powers and the regional ones so they both participate in arranging this new regional system which is still developing.

The study has also concluded that the stance of traditional international and regional powers toward the Arab Spring Revolts depends on the interests of these countries rather than the interests of the peoples of the countries of the Arab Spring Revolts.

Moreover, the role of the Arab system is limited – concerning the influence and dominance – to the advantage of other regional countries represented in Iran, Turkey and Israel as a result of instability, conflicts, and regression the countries of the Arab Spring Revolts are experiencing.
