The present research is designed to shed some light on the narrative features of narrative collection (Zarqaa Al yamam wa Atanafos helemen ) of the Palestinian story teller Hussein Elmenasra , an outstanding landmark of the Palestinian extra short story .

His long experience represents a unique narrative voice, both on the artistic and content levels .

His prolific output is quite varied, ranging from the short story, to the extra short story .

This research endeavors, through an applied study of one collection , to delineate the artistic and content features which give Hussein Elmenasra's work a unique quality, setting him really high among Palestinian extra short story writers in particular, and Arab extra short story writers in general
