A proverb is one kind of a popular literature the most prevalent beside the common and particular, it’s a mirror of nation, from it people express and reflect their feelings, hopes,pain,suffering, ideas, temperaments and their speculations, it’s the only expression of their feelings and misfortunes; and it’s transmitted from father to son, by accounts and reports.

The kabyle proverb could transmit with authenticity and sincerity the Berber population reality,it describe Kabyle environment, its lands, plants, animals, and its lifeless, it describe also the daily social and economic of this region; for this reason the Kabyle proverb was appreciated and listened with pleasure, in addition its eloquence and its enjoyable style make it popular and widespread in all times and places
