تنفيذ نظام طلاء عازل حراري TBC (7YSZ-FeCrAlY)‎ باستخدام تقنيتي CA-PVD و ال EB-PVD، و دراسة خواصه

Abstract EN

In this work, Thermal Barrier Coating system was produced by PVD processes.

The bondcoat of FeCrAlY alloy, was deposited by unfiltered Cathodic Arc- PVD.

The ceramic top layer of 7YSZ, was evaporated by Electron Beam-PVD.

Deposits were applied on a substrate of AISI 304.

The system was characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, energy- dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, pull-off adhesion test.

Results show that the bondcoat has high surface roughness due to high cathode material emission of macroparticles.

This roughness plays an important role in increasing the adhesion of top ceramic layer (even at low substrate temperature), and in improving thermal cycling resistance.

The effect of 7YSZ deposition temperature on microstructure, crystallographic texture and adhesion force was also experimented.
