Abstract EN
This paper deals with the essential object of the dictionary, and in particular the specialized dictionary, which is the definition or the terminological definition.
The corpus of our study is selected from one of the most important dictionaries in Arabic modem linguistics, namely the Unified Dictionary of Linguistic Terms (second edition, 2002), published by the Bureau of Coordination of Arabization.
The study of the definitions of some key linguistic terms is based on modem linguistic knowledge, from one hand, and on what is established in modem terminological theories, from the other hand.

La definition terminologique est l’objet essentiel de tout dictionnaire, et en particulier le dictionnaire specialise, puisqu’elle contribue dans l'organisation du systeme conceptuel des sciences.
Dans ce cadre, nous visons a travers cet article & presenter une etude critique des definitions de certains termes cles de la deuxieme edition du Dictionnaire unifie de la linguistique publie par le Bureau de Coordination de l'Arabisation (Rabat) en 2002.
Cette etude est fondee, d’une part, sur les concepts de la linguistique modeme (Post-Saussurienne), et sur ce qui a ete etabli dans la terminologie, d'autre part.
