Abstract EN

The study aims to reveal the reality of the use of management information systems at Salman Bin Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia from the perspective of its administrative and academic leadership.

The descriptiveanalytical method is used.

Among the key findings of the study is that although Salman Bin Abdulaziz University is an emerging university, the actual reality of the use of management information systems in it indicates that these systems are applied and used satisfactorily to some extent as perceived by its administrative and academic leadership.

The reason for this lies in the fact that Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz University was at the beginning of its establishment under the umbrella of the prestigious King Saud University, and benefited from the experience of King Saud University in the design of its systems.

In addition, the results show that there are statistically significant differences in the responses provided by the study participants in the questionnaire in general in terms of qualification variable, specifically between those who hold master's and doctorate degrees in favor of PhD holders.

However, there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study participants in terms of years of experience.
