Abstract EN

The present researchaims to identifythe attitudes of teachers and parents of children with autism disorder towards parent education programs.

The study sample consists of (60) teachers and parents of children with autism disorder.

The research tool is the standardof attitudes towards parent education programs.

The study indicates that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of teachers and parents of children with autism disorder in the standardof attitudes towards parent education programs in favor of teachers.

In addition, no statistically significant differences are found between the mean scores of teachers of children with autism disorder in the standardof attitudes towards parent education programs that are attributed to some variables, which are educational qualification, years of experience, educational grade, and motivation towards working in the field.

The study also shows that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of teachers of children with autism disorder in the standardof attitudes towards parent education programs attributed to the training courses variable.

There are also statistically significant differences between the mean scores of parents of children with autism disorder in the standardof attitudes attributed to some variables which are educational, economic, perceived social support, and satisfaction with the status of the child levels.

Moreover, there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of fathers and mothers in the standardof attitudes towards parent education programs.
