Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the concept of tolerance in lights of holy quaran verses.

Also it aimed to identify the role of educational institutions in consolidating this concept and to identify the educational implications of tolerance on individual and society.

To achieve these goals, the researcher investigated the quranic verses related to the subject of study.

The study found out the following results: 1) tolerance is a high Islamic moral value calling for freedom of expressions and accepting other opinion.

2) The study shows the presence of educational implications of tolerance on individuals and society.

3) Educational institutions have a significant role in consolidating tolerance on individuals and society.

4) The study pointed to a set of recommendations including preparing courses aiming to support tolerance values among individuals and society.
