This study aimed to know the reality of the use of secondary school teachers / South Darfur State Nyala, modern means of education technology and communication media and in teaching, as well as to identify the difficulties they face when they use this software.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, to describe and analyze data related to the study, and to answer the questions of the study, researcher designed study tool questionnaire (to collect data where consisted of (34) items, applied the tool on a sample of (66) male and female teachers have been randomly selected.
from the schools of South Darfur State (Nyala), has been used percentages and duplicates, and averages, and deviations, standard for data analysis.
The study found a number of results, including: 1.
that most of the respondents engaged in various applications and software for information technology and communication are adequate, but their use and employment in teaching purposes, and the development of the educational process output was weak.
2.
Some barriers, use of educational technology in teaching appeared; it was the most important non-availability of appropriate equipment and infrastructure for the use of means of communication and education technology.
3.
This study confirmed the extent of the cooperative relationship between the educational communication and technology of modern education in the development of the educational process, where they work together in the transfer of specific expertise from one party to another Of the results of this study, including many recommendation: 1.
training teachers to use modern media in teaching and to involve them in the planning, preparation and production of educational media operations.
2.
re-consideration of the decisions and the subjects taught to students at different educational levels and the need to develop the curriculum and make use of the means of communication and technology of modern education and areas: (such as the Internet, satellite, video conferencing, etc.), and use it for the purposes of teaching and learning.
3.
the need to take the necessary steps to take advantage of modern educational technology possibilities and means of communication and put them in the field of education measures, and begin to create and update the technological infrastructure, which include providing schools with equipment and educational software required, and provide a multimedia computer labs and connect them to the Internet
