ماتت أسماك السلمون و نفقت الطيور بعد أن ضربت الكارثة الأرض أما الإنسان فقد أثبت مرة أخرى أنه أكثر المخلوقات جشعا و تشبثا بالحياة مهما كانت مريرة و مهينة.
English Abstract
A father and his son walk through the wasteland of ashes and ruin covered by the bodies of those who passed away from hunger, cold, and disease.
Fishes and birds died after a disaster struck earth.
Man, alone, has proved once again he is the most creatures attached to life, no matter how bitter and insulting it is.
The mother did not put up with life; she committed suicide with a sharp flint stone, so the father and the son continue their journey towards the coast, through burned woods and bitter cold.
The two searched the earth for edible roots, corners of the abandoned gas stations and burned shops for forgotten canned food, and forced to enter life-or-death battles against bandits.
