Irregular-spotty-byte error control codes devised by the author[3-5] are suitable for binary semiconductor memories with binary arithmatic where a memory chip consists of irregular bytes of not necessarily of same length.

However, direct storage and processing of non-binary numbers in base 10, base 8 or base 16 is possible with the instant invention.

Keeping this in view, in this paper, we formulate the concept of non-binary lti/ni -ispotty byte error control codes suitable for non-binary storage and computing using RAM chips of irregular bytes
