Abstract EN

In this era of advanced technology, countries’ development is measured by the proper implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in different aspects of life, and especially in the education sector.

Researchers in the field of educational technology are motivated to study the effect of ICT integration on the teaching/learning process.

The majority of educational curricular adopted in the Arab world do not properly integrate and implement ICT in the educational processes of teaching geography, a science that investigates the relationship between people and their environment.

Thus, we aimed in this action research to study the effect of integrating remote sensing technology in the Lebanese geography curriculum.

This study was based on a sample representing the population of ninth grade learners.

Results based on observations, checklists and statistical studies, showed that students’ achievement was improved due to the integration of remote sensing technology in geography classes.
