المكاسب الاقتصادية و البيئية لتطبيق نظام إدارة البيئة الأيزو 14000 في المؤسسات الصناعية : دراسة حالة مؤسسة فرتيال (الجزائر)‎

Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to show the economical benefits of obtaining the ISO 14001 in the Fertial company, which is characterized by its great pollution of the environment, and intensive consumption of natural resources.

This study is done by relying on local company files and documents; as well as relying on personal interview with the person charged with the application of environmental management system ISO 14000 in the company.

The study deduced that the localization of such system is going to realize many economic gains for the Fertial company that include the efficient utilization of natural resources, especially water and natural gas; reducing energy consumption; increasing the efficiency of productivity; the improvement of its environmental performance; decreasing its waste treatment costs; and compatibility with national environmental laws and legislation.

The study recommended the design of a national program supervised by the Algerian Institute for Standardization in order to increase the awareness among the Algerian industrial companies for the environmental, economic and commercial importance of the standard certification ISO 14001.
