Abstract EN

The study of the old religious beliefs is one of the important themes in the pre-Islamic study of Arab history, especially in their mentality and style of thinking in addition to knowing the ancient Arabic civilization.

The pre-Islamic Arabs had various religions and sects.

Some of them were monotheist and some of some were idol-worshipers, the others worshiped celestial bodies (moon- sun- Venus), perhaps the latter has been derived from Yemen and was influenced by the surrounding civilizations.

It represents a stage of the Arabic religious thinking as it represents each of the mundane worshipping, and regarded an aspect of the aspects.
