Arabic Abstract

بعيدا عن الصور النمطية للقادة و الزعماء التي يمكن أن تثيرها في أذهاننا كلمة (قيادة) يأتي هذا الكتاب، أو بالأحرى الدليل، الذي أعده مجموعة من الخبراء، لكي يقدم لنا المعنى المباشر و البسيط للقيادة باعتبارها القدرة على التأثير في الآخرين لتحريكهم و دفعهم لإنجاز أهداف معينة، بما يعني أن الآباء قادة، و كذلك الأمهات، بل و حتى الأطفال الصغار بينهم، بهذا المعنى، من يمارس القيادة، و هم يلعبون.

هذا الكتاب، بأسلوبه السهل المشوق، لا يعلمك كيف تصير قائدا بل يوفر لك الأفكار و المفاهيم الأساسية التي تمكنك من أن تقود بطريقة أفضل؛ فأول ما يجب عليك فعله هو تحديد الهدف الذي تسعى لتحقيقه، و أن تكون واضحا مع نفسك : فما هي رؤيتك ؟ و ما غايتك ؟ و ما الذي تطمح إلى تحقيقه ؟، فبدون هذا الوضوح لن يمكنك تحفيز الناس، و شحذ همتهم لإنجاز المهمة.

و لا يكف المؤلفون عن تذكيرك : لكي تكون قائدا، فالأمر لا يتعلق بما تفعله أنت بقدر تعلقه بما سوف يضطلع به الآخرون، ثقة بك، و بالهدف العام الذي تريد تحقيقه.

English Abstract

This book does not click with the usual clichés and stereotypes that the word “leadership’ often evokes in our minds.

If anything, this book or rather this guide, which has been prepared by a number of experts, gives us the simplest of definitions for the word as the ability to inspire and influence others with the aim of urging and motivating them to achieve a specific goal.

In this sense all fathers and mothers are leaders; even children with their playmates are showing leadership components in the middle of their play.

Not only does the book groom you for leadership roles, but it also equips you with the basic concepts required for leadership.

The first thing to do is to set yourself an achievable goal.

You ought to have a clear vision and a well-defined objective, for without this clarity of vision and aim, you cannot mobilize or mastermind others for the task ahead.

The contributors to the book never tire of reminding the reader that being at the helm or in charge is more about what others will do than about what the leader himself will do.
