Abstract EN

This study is about the role that the Mozabite society played in enhancing cultural movement in southern Algeria.

The Mozabites were known for their significant cultural and intellectual activity.

They founded schools from which many students graduated.

Some of them continued their studies outside the M’zab valley.

This community is also famous for its renowned scholars and great intellectuals who left important works.

They also created many important libraries.

This put M’zab on the list of the important cultural sites in Algeria.
