Abstract FRE

National economic and social council is one from many advisory bodies at the disposal of the government that may request its opinion on the issues and matters of economic and social dimensions.

Also, the Council may take the initiative by himself to provide advice and guidance to the government on matters deemed important.

The Council shall submit reports on the economic and social conditions of the country, allowing standing and specialized committees to monitor the implementation of governmental programs and projects; and through its recommendations, an actual participation can be achievedin formulating economic and social public policy.
