Abstract EN

To avoid the numerous failures that have been noticed in the management of big enterprises, the choice has been done on smaller and medium ones as a strategic decision.

The Algerian authorities have encouraged these enterprises to reach the economic development.

This study aimed at giving a broad view about the topic “economic development strategies in Algeria” and its close relationship with small and medium enterprises and its impact on the different economic levels such as: employment, development of exports, and creation of wealth.
