The differential and variety of identities depends on cultures ; which gives them properties and distinction from one social group to another and from one society to another.

It is, in fact, a substance that changes constantly and gets affected by other cultural identities.

Religious (creed and ethics) is of its greatest elements.

The grouth of Extremist religious movements, adopting regressive conceptions on the identity, in the last decades ; however, has let in the appearence of phenomena such as alienation, abnormality, valuable and conceptual conflict, and pushing people into polytheism ; which is resulted from sects, … and so on.

All this happens in the same hometown and thus brings about big dangers as to the cultural identity of society.

According to what we mentioned previously, we want to approach the topic of cultural identity of society and its conflict with the religious extremism, and that through the following problematic : 1- What is the cultural identity ? 2-The religious extremism and the conceptions are related to what ? 3-What is the relationship between religious extremism and cultural identity ? 4- What are the dangers caused by the religious extremism on the cultural identity ? 5-How to maintain our cultural identity in facing the extremism thought ?.
