Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the aspects of the sports public riots in the Iraqi sports stadiums .

To achieve so , this study was conducted on a sample of (140) and applied the questionnaire consisting of (16) items.

The researcher used descriptive and analytical approach.

The study results showed that the causes of the riots are due to problems related to the referee and the feelings of the people towards the competition.

The problems increase among the public when their clubs reach the top competitions.

Although most of the causes of these negative behaviors of riots are sports reasons apparently, there are indirect resons which achieve motives far from the field of athletic competition.

In light of this, the study recommended that a specialized scientific symposium shou be held or at least alarm that our programs are in urgent need of review quickly and deeply in this area or urge psychology and sociology scientists to conduct future studies in thi area .In addition there is a need to hold conferences and seminars, aiming to teach the public correct laws for sports of public interest as well as concentrating on raising the level and efficiency of Arbitration of Sport.
