Abstract EN

The research aims to state the methodology of lewis Maalouf in his famous lexicon(Upholstered \ Al Monnajed) and to show its advantages and disadvantages.

The lexical studies on this lexicon are still continous in increasing growth because of the danger & standerad of this lexicon.

Upholstered is one of the most famous lexicon in modern age whose auther has tried to facilitate it for the present generation, making use of the great heritage left by our scientists.

The Auther followed El-zimkhshari in his book (Al Kashaf) with the addition of some appendixes for many Scientists of his age.

Howerer, he had made many troubles and faults which were discussed by other researchers & scientists before me.

This study is considered as part within that chain of studies researchers by this Upholstered.

We have stated the Auther's advantages & disadvantages.
