Abstract EN

Al-Tha'alibi lived in the third Abbasid century.

The Abbasid was its weakest eras because it was divided into small states fighting with each other to extend its influence and control in order to serve its own interests.

These conflicts were reflected negatively on the Islamic society.

But in spite of that, the scientific aspect and the culture were flourished and boomed due to scientists rivalries among each other in the third and fourth Hijri century of which Abu Mansour Al-Tha'libi was emerged.

He was one of those scientists and writers who were known for their large number of books and writings.

The fourth century, where Al-Tha'libi lived, was characterized for the encouragemen of Princes and Sultans to science and scientists.

This contributed largely in this renaissance and development.

In addition to the existing of libraries which contributed in developing the cultural and intellectual movement which lead as well to encourage the people to read and culture.
