Study aims to identify the role of civil institutions in curbing drug relapse as well as identifying key needs of recovered addicts so that they don't return to drug use.

Researcher has adopted descriptive method based on a public survey which made it possible to garner as much information as possible about the phenomena to be studied.

A questionnaire with a 3 dimension measure has been administered to a study sample of 60 sanatorium visitors.

Study summed up with a number of findings, the most crucial of which are the indispensability of professional intervention programs for curbing drug relapse.

Study also uncovered numerous crucial roles which civil society institutions assume to back strategies of social integration of recovered addicts, including providing recovered addicts with suitable employment opportunities.

Civil society institutions also play a pivotal role in the arena of awareness and education as well as decreasing stigma against recovered addicts.
