Abstract EN

The almighty God created the human and appointed him as a successor on the earth, and created with him others creatures such as the animal to collaborate with him in build the earth and keep the life continue.

God almighty also organized the relationship between humans and animals to go by kindness and compassion, and for this we find in the biography of the prophet Mohammad (PBUH), a soothing mercy for all on the world, as God said (and we have sent thee but as a mercy to the world) [ the prophet:107], a form of his mercy to these animal, this kind of mercy distinguishes with a combination between the benefit for people’s food and living conditions, and between the mercy and compassion.

This study will concentrate on the mercy’s aspects at the biography of the prophet (PBUH) with animals and birds, even in their life (by forbearance with them) or in their food, drink, or when slaughtered them kindly.

Then, the study will make comparison between the slaughtering according to the directive of the prophet and between the slaughtering by electrocution or dizziness which consider means of modern slaughter which resulted from the societies’ calling for the prevention of cruelty to animals by their pretense that these ways more merciful to animals than the Islamic slaughter, which this study will show that these claims are false.
