Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the effect of a modified adaptive training program on working memory among sixth graders in the Irbid City.The sample of the study consisted of (120) participants selected from 6th grade students with available method, and distributed equally into four groups: two experimental groups, one for males and the other for females, and two control groups, one for males and the other for females.To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the Modified Adaptive Training Program on working memory based on the Baddeley’s Model of working memory consisted of (22) sessions, where the researchers used various tools in these sessions, as pencils, papers, sculptures, images and games.The results of the study showed that there were statistical significant differences between score on working memory scale among students in favor of the experimental group.The researcher recommends making future studies on new samples of students with new variables and to prepare educational programs to the improve working memory
