Abstract EN

Mzab community is part of the Algerian people.

It has its own linguistic, doctrinal and social characteristics.

It has been noted that this community often lacks claim for public college education by girls due to lack of the convenient atmosphere.

Co-education and openness to different trends are seen by a large part of Mozab community as an imminent and damaging danger that threatens their identity and their future.

Alternatively, they established private college education which is not adopted or recognized by the State.

Private college education is suffering from a major problem of school leaving because of girls’ early marriage.

Private college education needs to be much firmer in respecting academic standards in both form and content.

Therefore, this study has tried to find an alternative project, aimed mainly to the development of Open University education for girls in Mzab society in Algeria by founding an open university according to universally agreed academic standards and inspiring its educational curricula, academic and managerial systems from prestigious universities experiences, taking into account the variability factor and differences between one environment and another.
