English Abstract

Modern linguistic studies have a new trend to study the books of meanings and explanations as they study various topics like semantics, syntax, phonetics and syntax.

It is a fact that modern linguists had their own merit to tackle these studies.

In this research, I found that there was no an accurate reading to what was said about these studies whether to the modern investigators from the modern linguists or grammarians as all these studies were superficial within one structure, a matter which makes it classical.

This study differs both in method and content as it tries to show the explanatory affect to Ibn Al-Anbari, one of the most important linguists in Kufa and Basrah who had a great effort in explanation especially in his explanations of Ibn Hayan in his (Albahr Almuheet).

He gives a specific interpretation for each quranic expression within their quranic contexts and relate them to their lexical base.

This research tries to show the explanations of Al-Anbari, then present the interpretations of other linguists and tries to explain them and give some opinions and display the explanatory effects of Ibn Al-Anbari.
