Abstract EN

This study sheds light on the concept of social skills that is considered as one of the most interesting variables of positive psychology, this study aims to examining evidence of validity and reliability of social skills scale to preparatory education children, the sample of this study consisted of (200) children.

The scale revealed an adequate degree of reliability and validity by using Cronbach alpha and the correlation between the dimensions and its total degree, using split half reliability.

The factorial analysis was used through principal components analysis, the results indicated drawing four factors: cooperation, social communication, empathy, social and emotional control.
