Abstract EN

The Maghreb poems-songs which are inscribed in the wide repertory of the popular spoken language, are imprinted with a deep lyricism.

Highly individualized by their large prosodic partition and their phonic materiality, these very short composite texts, linked to the high points of social life, include a strong affective communication, refer to multiple circumstances, are associated with community festivals and rituals.
