Abstract EN

This study aims to focus on financing of infrastructure projects by available Islamic financing instruments, particularly, the real and prospective use of Islamic bonds into infrastructure projects financing of some Islamic countries as gulf cooperation council countries, Malaysia and Egypt.

Therefore it sheds light on infrastructure projects' kinds and on their importance into modern economies.

As well as, it defines Islamic financing substitutes and their characteristics, especially, the fact that Islamic financing substitutes lead to transition of financing cost whose sums are usually exorbitant regarding to the big size of infrastructure projects from the government to others during the period of concession, and when projects are finished , they should be returned to the government property
