Abstract EN

The contemporary poet suffered from insanity as a result of incompatible ideas with his community.

He suffered also from the phenomenon of alienation as a result of the psychological confusion, the ideological loss, and the impact of the modern Western literature.

The contemporary poet sees that the former form of poetic text is no longer compatible to his poetic experience; thus, he has created a new form through which he expresses new themes related to the modern poetic movement.

Among these poets, we have « Salah Abdel Sabour ».

In our article we will study the most important aspects of his alienation after explaining this latter.
