The novel "La Nuit sacrée" of Tahar Ben Jelloun is a story told in the first person singular.
It is the narrator Zahra, after being old, who exposes her story by establishing a mythical universe peopled with fantastic creatures.
This universe reminds us of fairy tales that are here the figures; and even the sources of the text.
Our problematic shows the flow of orality in Benjelloun's text; and explains why he borrows; sometimes modernity; using the language of the other; and sometimes the tradition while speaking about the Moroccan or the North African woman

Le roman La Nuit Sacrée est un récit raconté à la première personne.
C’est la narratrice Zahra, âgée, qui expose son histoire en mettant en place un univers mythique peuplé de créatures fantastiques.
Cet univers nous rappelle les contes de fées qui sont ici, les figures, voire même les sources du texte romanesque Notre problématique est de montrer le flot de l’oralité dans le texte de Ben Jelloun, et d’expliquer les raisons pour lesquelles il emprunte, tantôt à la modernité, en utilisant la langue de l’autre, tantôt à la tradition tout en contant la situation de la femme marocaine ou maghrébine
