Abstract EN

The history of sentence grammar in the West , the Sausserian theory and Chomsky’s go together to make a kind of accumulation.

The tendency(grammar study) has opted for the social aspect of the language as a very crucial means of communication for the human kind.

The studies did focus not on the linear structure, but rather on the meaning embedded in the context where the text is born ,which we call nowadays ‘text grammar’.

The grammar of the sentence was built on the virtual system by which discourse are made according to the very systems.

In the other hand the grammar of the text has undertaken to study language in use –The text- as the most vulnerable activity a man can adopt to communicate with.

That is why it’s important to involve the reader(receiver) in the production of that text , which inevitably turns out to try to understand the speaker's text in the communication circle.

The refore, the study of the grammar of the sentence did not deviate from the general system or the rules governing the sentence sequences.

Moreover, many structural phenomena were not explained within the limits of the latter, and need to be interpreted in the context of a larger and more important structure which is te text.

What is the nature of this transition, and what are the characteristics of these two studies ? Is this transition justified ?what are the objectives of this new study?
