Takaful insurance industry has contributed to the development and control of several insurance products following the persistent efforts to revive Islamic finance and implement it within the modern financial systems.

However, insurance is a high-risk activity, especially regarding the company’s financial solvency, which requires using of modern mechanisms for the management of its business by the application of the governance rules of Takaful insurance companies, which aims at providing effective control measures to ensure its growth and existence according to international best practices.

Therefore, this article will deal with the level of contribution of corporate governance standards to improve the level of control on Takaful insurance activities, and reduce the risk that hinder the achievement of its Goals.
