Abstract EN

This essay takes up the issue of the democratic transition in Algeria, in addition to the obstacles Algeria is facing to rach such goal, through adopting a structural approach, in other words, we seek to analyze the societal, economic, constitutional and political structures, even the cultural ones on which the Algerian State is based.

Furthermore, such structures are to be understood if they are obstacles or possible choices to Algeria in the path of the achievement of its transition to democracy.
