Praise be to Allah the one true lord, and peace and blessings be upon prophet Mohammed, after whom there should be no other prophet, and upon his family and companions.

This is a study of the Quranic eloquence, where we examine Quranic terminologies often used for other than their usual meanings, with the Mufassal (Short Surrahs) as a case study.

Indeed, interest in Quranic terminologies was common among the companions -may Allah be pleased with them- during the time of revelation as well as among their followers.
