This research deals with a poet who is considered as the flag of thought, culture, and literature during the age of Bani Al-Ahmar, the era of the Sultanate of Granada in Andalusia.

The paper provides a discussion of the poet, his life, a historical overview of the poet's era, the collection and documentation of his poetry, and the most prominent characteristics of his poetry.
