The crow is one of the birds that made place for itself in the arab thinking in ancient days, it had also a significant impact on their social environment, where his influence is evident in their poetry and prose.

Thay inspired from him multiple images of social behavior which were built on either pessimism or rejection of others, based on what they perceived in this bird's daily life, or they gleaned a legendary picture based on their fictional perception and fairy tales.

The Quran and hadith offered Arabs with more than models on the nature of this bird which made the Arabic language teeming with a lot of words that have relationship with any behavior, or related to the shape of the bird.

This article will address the crow total words and its significance in ancient Arab thoughts in poetry and prose.
