English Abstract

The research aims to study the effectiveness of the model is unrealistic in achievement and the development of critical thinking among students of the Faculty of Education, Ibn al-Haytham was the application of research to students for the first phase of the Department of Chemistry and the adoption of the experimental method a posttest for collection and pre and post critical thinking as it has been the students divided into an experimental group (30 students ) studied the adoption of a realistic model and a group control group (30 female students and female students) studied the adoption of the usual way.

After a parity between the two groups in the (chronological age _ a measure of intelligence and critical thinking tribal and grades of students in the subject of organic chemistry to the stage before the first half of the year) Been identified scientific article of the second semester laboratory experiments in organic extraction purposes behavioral and prepare plans crisis, and teaching students according to their steps.
