The development of the vegetarian drugs and treatments in Arabic & Islamic medicine was based on the heritage of the Arabs and Muslims civilization.

Also the guidance of the Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) that called (The Prophetic Medicine) played an important role in this field.

The Arab and Muslims scientists and doctors in Islamic eras continued their efforts in the field of vegetarian drugs and treatments.

Their accuracy and the usage of scientific methods led them to find the treatments for many diseases and infections, which approved recently by the modern scientific studies in this century.
