Abstract EN

This research aims to measure the efficiency of investments in shares of companies listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX).

To achieve this, the researcher using the Capital Asset Pricing Model CAPM based on the potential expectations of returns and risk on the shares of listed companies and the strength of the relationship and the interdependence between them.

The research found a set of conclusions, the most important there is a direct positive relationship between risk and return on investments in shares of listed companies in the Iraq Stock Exchange, as well as there are other factors that affect stock prices in this market, and in the light of these findings, we have provided some recommendations and proposals that can be contribute to developing the work of the Iraqi Stock Exchange.
