La présente communication s’intéresse à l’étude de la résistance nationale à Tlemcen et sa périphérie durant la période allant de 1830 à 1930.
Cetterésistance, diversifiée par ses moyens a connu en premier lieu une résistance populaire sous l’égide de l’Emir Abdelkader, suivie d’une résistance culturelle et politique menée une élite de Tlemcen comme Mohamed Benrahal et cadi Chouaib .et les gens de Tlemcen qui résistent sur sauvegarde de la personnalité en défiant la colonisation par à travers: despétitions, des manifestation, par l’émigration
