Abstract EN

The question of torture, during the Algerian revolution, has been subject of debate and central issue that attracted public opinion about the abuses practiced by the colonial army and security institutions and even settler zealots .In fact The limits of the collective killings, massacres and genocide inflicted to Algerians has been asforms of repression and abuse brutal and contrary to international norms and conventions related to human rights.

However the French authorities, and for many decades, has officially denied these practices except for the torturers who wrote the memoirs and came to refute colonial lies and misinformation.

In this sense we have chosen this paper to focus on the testimony of one of the living example of those torturers who published their testimonies
