Abstract EN

Spreading the exploitative personality in the society is a risk that requires research in its origin.

That could be done due to research in parenting styles to identify the styles that lead to more exploitative personality and styles that lead to less.

This research aims to identify the followings: 1- Measuring levels of exploitative personality level among university students.

2- Measuring the levels of parental treatment styles (Democratic, Extra protection, Authoritarian, Inconsistency, and Negligence).

In students with severe exploitative personality: A- Of father B- Of mother 3- Measuring the levels of parental treatment styles (Democratic, Extra protection, Authoritarian, Inconsistency, Negligence) in students with low exploitative personality:A- Of father B- Of mother 4- Measuring the differences in exploitative personality according for each parenting treatment styles (Democratic, Extra protection, Authoritarian, Inconsistency, Negligence) A- Of father B- Of mother 5- Measuring significance differences in correlation coefficient between exploitative personality and each parenting style (Democratic, Extra protection, Authoritarian, Inconsistency ,Negligence) according to variables: Gender (male, female) and specialization (natural sciences & Human sciences): A- Of father B- Of mother The sample of the present study involves (480) senior male and female students from the fourth class.

Stratified random sampling was employed to form the sample from six colleges to study the morning in the University of Salahaddin.

The researchers developed a Scale for exploitative personality.

The Scale comprises of (43) items.

To measure the patterns of parental treatment the researchers adapted the scale of (Mahmud and Isa 1989) as amended by (Mehmari2000).

The measure contained (27) situations.

Then make sure for Statistical properties of scales.

And follow the descriptive approach Correlative, and using appropriate statistical methods showed results : 1.

No high of exploitative personality among university students.

2.Low level of exploitative personality among university students.

3.The democratic style of parenting may decrease the possibility of appearing exploitative personality in children.

4.Abnormal parenting styles (Extra protection, Authoritarian, Negligence) in both parents may increase the possibility of exploitative personality in children.

5.No significant differences has found between male and female, between natural sciences & Human sciences specialization in all correlation coefficients between exploitative personality and all five parenting styles in both father and mother
